Our ever more complex income tax code has spawned major opportunities for fraud. The IRS readily acknowledges it’s happening and that the code’s complexity is a major source of the problem. Here’s just another example of how out of control it’s become. The Fair Tax would simplify the code dramatically and curtail these
pathways to theft.
