ways to promote the FairTax
Make a donation
to the FairTax. Donations are used to support the efforts of FairTax
volunteers with advertising, support staff, promotional materials,
entrance fees to trade shows, county fairs, conventions and more.
If you can't give a lot of your time your financial support is invaluable.
Sign
the online petition and
encourage your friends and family to do the same
OR, Print the petition and take
with you to work, church, the ball park, your neighborhood, etc.
and encourage others to help pass the FairTax by signing the petition
to Congress. Encourage legible email addresses so they can receive
email updates on the progress of the FairTax. Send a copy of the
petition to your district director and mail or fax a copy to the
address on the petition to FairTax HQ.
www.congress.org.
This site has the e-mail of all available congressmen and women
and any other methods of contact. They also allow you to sign up
for a weekly e-letter that informs you of upcoming bills and what
each congressman and woman have voted for or against. Another portion
of the website is dedicated to the "soap box". This would
be a fantastic way to reach even more people about the fair tax.
A posting to the soap box would then be available to any interested
persons. -- Michelle Jones

I placed an order for labels that say:
www.FairTax.org
No more IRS / Income tax
1-800-FairTax
Support H.R 25 / S.R. 1025
300 on a roll is about $8.00. I now slap one on every peice of mail
or anything for that matter. -- Ashford Schwall
I bought a copy of "Three Billion New Capitalists", "The
FairTax", and "China, Inc." I labeled them as "OFFICE
COPY" and placed them in the break room in my office. By the
end of the day they were all gone. I put a little note inside each
book saying that it could be taken home as long as they bought the
book back when they finished it.

Join the FairTax "Tea Party." Get a teabag (the cheap
ones work fine). Tape, paste or somehow stick on a label. Write
"FairTax" somewhere on the label then address it to Johnny
Isakson, David Scott or any of the other Georgia politicians that
need to know just how dedicated Georgians are to FairTax. Apply
49 cents postage on the label and drop it in a mailbox. Repeat until
you're out of teabags. Then go buy some more. - Larry Whittington,
Georgia CD-06
FairTax "Teabag"
postcards are also available for printing to send in the same
way as the real teabag. - Joseph Gullett, Georgia CD-09
I have made it a rule to inform all
donation seekers from my political party (contacting me by telephone
or mail) that I will not give them another red cent until they pass
the FairTax. - Russell Stumpf, Georgia
Mail back the political surveys with FairTax information. - Angela
Bean, Georgia CD-08
You can easily send a FairTax email
to your congressmen, Secretary Snow, and President Bush. www.fairtaxrevolution.com.

Wear a FairTax name badge everywhere
you go. (Name Badge PDF) The name
badge will spark conversations. Make sure you have a pocket full
of FairTax Pocket Cards.

I place my Fair Tax labels on all
of my mail and paper money. Also, I never throw away a "postage
paid mailer" that I receive in the mail. Always place Fair
Tax promotional material inside and your "Fair Tax labels"
on the outside and return to sender -- postage paid.
If you are computer literate you can design and print your
own lables. If not... an easy way to get labels printed at very
little cost is to watch the "Mailers" that you receive
in the mail advertising "printed return address labels."
You can print anything you want on these labels, up to five lines,
28 spaces per line, all for under $5.00 including postage, handling,
etc. You can also find these cheap labels in your Sunday newspapers.
If you want to create labels with a variety of pictures, go to www.vistaprint.com.
Get on their mailing list. Then wait for one of their sales. When
you see the sale, you can sometimes get up to 200 labels for the
cost of postage. First, get on their e-mail subscription list, then
watch and shop the sales. But be sure to explore their website;
they have a large variety of pictures that you can put on your labels.
Their sales are super. - Bob Holtzclaw, Georgia CD-13
Leave a trail of FairTax info sheets wherever you go. Drop off FairTax
literature at your doctor’s office, stores, restaurants, etc.
Distribute FairTax literature in your neighborhood.
Put a FairTax bumper sticker on your car.
Record a pro-FairTax message on your voicemail or answering machine.
Include a FairTax quote or link to a FairTax site in your email
signature. You can get ideas from other FairTax supporters and their
email signatures.

Georgia Volunteers Can Do
(PDF) This single sheet flyer gives contact info for the Georgia
Reps in Congress who have not signed on to the FairTax. These legislators
should be called, sent emails and faxed to encourage them to consider
the FairTax bill.

idea that you would like to share, please send us an email.
