GA FairTax Rate Your Candidate: General Election 2014

We have graded each of the candidates running for office for the US Senate and House of Representatives and for Georgia governor on the issue of the FairTax®.

 

FEDERAL CANDIDATE EVALUATIONS

 

Georgians for FairTax has rated the current candidates running for office based on their stands concerning the FairTax. Candidates for House of Representatives are listed by district. We used the following grading system in making our evaluations.

 

A = Prominent, specific, and clear preference for the FairTax on website, in materials, and at appearances, plus co-sponsor if an incumbent

B = Mention of FairTax support in some materials and website, but not a clear, specific preference over other tax reform ideas, plus a co-sponsor if an incumbent

C = In favor of tax reform with no preferred plan, not a co-sponsor if an incumbent

D =Vague references to tax reform, not openly critical of the FairTax, not a co-sponsor if an incumbent

F = Openly critical of the FairTax and not a co-sponsor if an incumbent or no mention of tax reform as an important issue at all
