Gainesville,
GA
As this morning dawned on Historic Green Street in beautiful
downtown Gainesville GA, dozens of volunteers arrived in front
of the Post Office in support of the Fair Tax Bill (HR 25 /
S 25.) Just like our founding fathers these supporters of the
National Fair Tax believe that our current system of taxation
is flawed. Stephanie Usrey and the other leaders of the Hall
County Fair Tax group; have chosen today, TAX DAY 2007, to rally
to inform as many of their fellow citizens as possible about
the benefits of a revolutionary new system of taxation first
introduced by Georgia Congressman John Linder. |

McDonough,
GA
I worked the McDonough Post Office from 8 until 10:30 am and
from 1 until 3 pm (gave out 500 pocket cards). Lots of thumbs
up, and positive reaction. Before I left I placed a yard sign
at the exit where everyone could see it. Next year will be bigger
and better. We can do it, you can help, keep up the good work
!

Augusta
FairTax Rally at RGabriel's Coffee Shop
We have 36 new signed petitions and 2 new (actually 3 counting
a spouse) volunteers
for the Augusta area. I was really pleased with our results,
because we didn't let many people escape the store without
signing!
Thanks again, Robert for hosting this event!
I would also like to thank Marvin Carlise for his effort in
making the
trip from Canton to help us out here in Augusta.

Loganville
& Snellville Post Offices
First let
me thank our Volunteers for their support and efforts, for
without them little could have been accomplished. A big special
thanks to Gene Key ,our Georgia State Director, who gives of
his time and energy at every opportunity.
We had 103 petitions signed, collected almost $400.00 contributions,
handed out almost all of our supplies (4000 pocket cards,
bumper sticker, printed white papers, etc.) to our Tax Paying
and Postal patrons and answered thousands of questions on
Tuesday.
We set up at two separate locations, Loganville,Ga. As well
as Snellville, Ga. We had people stopping by or honking horns
in support of what we were do. Many driving by actually stopped,
got out just to sign our petitions. One person donated a $100.00
bill ,saying" After paying his tax bill today and seeing
us, he had to stop and offer his help".
We also picked up 8 more volunteers who want to get involved
and offered to help .
One Gentleman builds robots in his work and has one he would
like to put into a Fair Tax Tee shirt to help sell the Idea!.
WOW!
We had a ball and our volunteers went away happy that they
made a difference.
I'm proud of what we did and we have so much more out there
to get done. With the support of Houston and others we WILL
make it Happen.
Keep on pushing!
