The FairTax booth
was set up “expertly” by Lyn and Don Williamson
by 8:30 Saturday morning for the noon opening of the PDK Airport
open house and air show. The 35-plus FairTax volunteers came
and went all day, some arriving as early as 10 a.m. to help
with the set up and to catch those who arrived early. At the
peak, we had over 20 volunteers wearing their new FairTax
tee-shirts, clipboards in hand, sharing FairTax information
and collecting signed petitions. For many of the volunteers,
this was the first time that they had participated in such
an event; their enthusiasm was awesome and resulted in helping
collect 381 FairTax signed petitions. The air show was great,
the crowd was supportive and interested in learning about
the FairTax, and we made a number of new friends. Several
photos are attached.
And to the volunteers:
I want to personally thank each of you for your commitment,
hard work, and enthusiasm. We will get the job done. Good
job FairTaxers.
