Big Haynes Creek Wildlife Festival

263 New FairTax supporters!!!!

With temperatures coming off the tarmac in excess of 125 on Saturday (a little cooler on Sunday, only 115) the Conyers Big Haynes Creek Wildlife Festival was the most trying for our volunteers, but again was successful in gaining another 263 new Fair Tax supporters to the ranks of FairTax.org.

All the volunteers did exceptionally well in spite of the extreme heat!!! After gaining the total attendance numbers from the front gate, we have found that we signed up a little over 10% of the entire crowd which is something to be proud of. We also managed to hit an 80% success ratio of email addresses as opposed to those that arereluctant to give out their personal info. The tri-folds do work when presented the right way.

I participated in the Big Haynes Creek Wildlife Festival at the International Horse Park in Conyers, Georgia. This was a small festival, being in it's intial year of inaugration, and anoter extreme "Hotlanta" weekend. The crowds were spare, but I just had to make a remark.

This was another Lyn (District Director CD04) and Don Willamson superbly organized and well coordinated event! Many kudos to the Willamson's for their energy, time, monies, and savy of the FairTax and their willingness to go to the "extreme" for enactment of the FairTax bill.
